So it would nice if we could all spend our days training and eating like the top pros..but the reality is most of us dont have that luxury. Some days I have everything lined up and all my meals work and my training is great. But sometimes reality kicks things in. There have been times where I'm in the middle of eating a pre train meal and I get called into work. Sometimes my family needs help..ect..ect...ect
we have all been there. Not to mention the times it's time to eat and I have no food ready...or much worse need to feed and having no food left in the house. It's just the price I pay for picking this life style. I'm not complaining but this is just some of the stuff I (we) deal with being a bodybuilder.

Sweating it out
So recently I have taken up my old habits of working out in sweats. A lot of people have been asking me why...so here you go. First it's not because Kai does it, and its not to make me sweat more (not a whole lot of reason for that..im holding fat not water), and its not to look cool. I do it because it helps me train. When being covered up I cant see myself in the mirrors. There is no more hey look how pumped i am..or damn i look fat today. there is only a covered figure there to work. Being covered allows me to focus with "blinders" if you will. Life gives us enough distractions..no reason why yourself should be one.

Ok..so this sucks
So here's the annoying deal. After almost giving me liver failure the dr. finally okay-ed me to start training (lightly), but start none the less. I got one small session in, shoulders and hams, and now I have a fucking sinus cold. I've spent the past two days pretty much sleeping. I'm starting to feel better but still taking it easy. Right now its just a sore throat wich i hate training with that. It makes it so hard to grunt. I will be back sooner than later.

in the begining
So here's the deal. I've been a bodybuilder for years, but latley this year has been a cluster fuck of stuff. First I had surgery, then i was in school, then i was on antibiotic and not that same antibiotic gave me hepatitis. But after months of self pitty I'm done. I have started back with my coach and friend Troy Tate, a top level national bodybuilder.
This blog is going to be about what's reallyinside my head while I get myself back into shape and as I eventually start prepping for a show...that I will win...
